Founding Companies and Predecessors:​

1944 – J.D. McLaren & Co. Inc. was founded as a shipping vessel agency in Sri Lanka by J.D. McLaren, a Scottish businessman.​
1984 – McLarens International started marketing Mobil Lubricants in Sri Lanka.​
1989 – Kupler Industries was created as an electrical equipment trading and electrical power distribution construction services company.​
1993 – Kupler started marketing Mobil Lubricants in Mindanao, Philippines authorized by Mobil Philippines, Inc.​
1998 – McLarens Mobil Private Ltd. was formed as a 50/50 venture between Mobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and McLarens Holding Ltd. in Sri Lanka.​
1999 – Kupler Industries Inc. (KII) was incorporated and became authorized distributor of Mindanao authorized by ExxonMobil.​
2002 – McLarens Lubricants Ltd. (MLL) was formed after ExxonMobil sold its share in the joint venture to McLarens.​
2010 – Kupler DCMC Philippines Corporation was spun off from KII, to focus on the Mobil distribution business..

Our Company:

  • October 02, 2019​
    MLL & KII created McKupler Inc. as a 50/50 joint venture company after several meetings in Manila, Singapore and Bangkok.

  • March 20, 2020​
    Awarded by ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. of Singapore the business for B2C market in the Philippines and B2B market in Mindanao.

  • June 01, 2020​
    Officially incorporated and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines.

  • December 15, 2020​
    Awarded the sole authorized Mobil distributorship business for both B2C and B2B markets in the Philippines.

  • March 15, 2021​
    Awarded by ExxonMobil Marine Limited of England the authority to supply to International Marine vessels in Philippines ports of call.

  • April 15, 2023​
    MLL transferred majority of its shares to Austin Marine Ltd. of Singapore, a subsidiary of McLarens Group, to enhance synergies.​
